In this release, Cloudchipr has expanded support for Memory metrics across various resource types, making monitoring more comprehensive. Additionally, we've fine-tuned the chart zooming functionality in Resource Explorer, and we've added new customization options for Automations, allowing you to tailor notifications to your needs.

Support for Memory Metrics

Cloudchipr now supports collecting and displaying Memory metrics for all EC2 instances, within Auto Scaling Groups (ASGs), and Kubernetes nodes as well. Users who have enabled memory metrics through the CloudWatch agent can now monitor memory usage directly within the Cloudchipr platform.

Filters Implementation

Users can now filter by Memory Utilization and Memory Available across various sections of the platform, including Live Resources Filters, Default Filters, and Automation workflows.

These metrics are now available for the following resource types:

  • EC2 Instances
  • Auto Scaling Groups (ASGs)
  • EKS Nodes

Memory Metrics States

Resources can have one of three memory metric states:

  • Enabled with Data: Memory metrics are on, and data is being displayed.
  • Disabled: Memory metrics are turned off for this resource.
  • Enabled, but No Data: Memory metrics are on, but no data is available—this could be due to the resource being stopped or recently disabled. In this case, the status will show as N/A for the selected range.

Resource Explorer: Chart Zoom Enhancements

We’ve enhanced the chart zooming experience on the Resource Explorer and Budget pages. Now, when you zoom in on a chart, the date range automatically adjusts to reflect the selected zoomed area.

Automations: Customizable Message Body

You can now customize the message body in Automations and add additional information, mention people directly on Slack, and personalize the email content.

Slack Notifications

Users can now edit the message body by selecting the "Edit Message" option.

Email Notifications

Similarly, for email notifications, users can select "Edit Message" to open a modal. Here, you can customize the email message, with the preview reflecting your changes in real-time.

As always, in addition to the features above, we have released numerous improvements based on the invaluable feedback from our beloved users 🙂 ❤️ 🎉
