In this release, Cloudchipr introduces 3 major features and bunch of improvements. The key features are

  1. Comprehensive Task Management System where users can create, assign, and track tasks per saving opportunities.
  2. Ability to "Filter Out" resources in Live Usage & Management.
  3. On Dashboards, there is a new widget covering Commitment Utilization.

Features:

Task Management System

Cloudchipr now includes a comprehensive Task Management System, enabling users to create, track, and manage tasks.

Key Features:

Task Creation: Tasks can be created from the Live Usage & Management section. To create a task, select the resource or resources you want and then choose Create Task within the Actions tab.

When creating a task, you can specify details such as the assignee, priority, status, environment, due date, and action type. The action type can be one of the following: Investigate, Delete, or Ignore.

Task Tracking: All tasks are listed under a dedicated Tasks tab in the toolbar, where users can monitor progress and manage tasks.

Group By: Tasks can be grouped by criteria such as Status, Action, Priority, Environment, and more for efficient tracking.

Action Updates: You can update the action type for any assigned task at any time.

Export: Tasks can be exported as a CSV file, allowing for external analysis and sharing.

Live Usage & Management: Filter Out Resources

With this update, you can now "Filter Out" specific resources from the Live Resources list. This feature is particularly useful for scenarios where certain resources, despite being underutilized, are integral to operations and should not be flagged as waste.

Resource Explorer & Dashboards: Duplicate Dashboards and Views

Users can now duplicate dashboards and views in the Resource Explorer and Dashboards sections. This feature enables quicker setup and management of customized views, saving time and effort when replicating existing configurations for different purposes.

Dashboards: Commitment Utilization Widget

To provide deeper insights into cloud cost management, a new Commitment Utilization Widget has been added to the Dashboards. This widget offers a comprehensive view of commitment usage and coverage
